Each item is handmade; therefore no two items are identical. Photographs are taken close up to show item details. This can give the impression that items are larger than they actually are; please check sizes and dimensions before ordering.

An invoice will not be included in the package unless it is specifically requested.

 Hallmarking

All my silver items weighing over 7.78g are hallmarked at the London Assay Office; it is a legal requirement to hallmark silver precious metal articles over this weight.

Please find more information regarding hallmarking in Blog.

Care instructions

Silver generally tarnishes over time, this can be removed using a silver polishing cloth, take care when the item of jewellery contains gemstones.

Please avoid swimming, showering and using detergents when wearing jewellery with gemstones, and this can have an adverse effect on the stone.

Sizing

Useful information regarding sizing of Rings, Bangles and Necklaces

Rings

Please check your ring size before ordering. Wider ring bands generally feel tighter and need to be half a size to a full size larger than narrow bands. The same applies if you want to wear a number of stacker rings on the same finger.

Ideally it is best to have your finger measured at a high street jewellers with a ring the same band thickness. Alternatively, I can provide a complimentary ring sizer (subject to availability), which enables you to measure your fingers at home. Please contact me if this is of interest.

All the ring sizes quoted in my Etsy shop are UK ring sizes. Hammered or textured bands can generally be made a size or 2 larger (contact me if you require a ring in a larger size); it is not possible to reduce a ring band without remaking it.

Bangles

Your bangle size is not determined by your wrist size as the bangle needs to fit over the widest part of your hand.

How to choose your size:

Measure the internal diameter of a bangle you already own and look up the size in the chart below.

Or

Place your hand in the position you would need to put on a bangle, with your thumb tucked in and measure round the widest part of your hand. Do this using a tape measure or a piece of string. This measurement will help you decide which size to choose to ensure the bangle fits over your hand.

The following sizes are generally in stock, other sizes can be made to order but incur a delay as they will need to be hallmarked.

SIZES (circumference)

Small 19cm Internal Diameter 6cm

Medium 20cm Internal Diameter 6.5cm

Large 21cm Internal Diameter 6.7cm

Extra large 22cm Internal Diameter 7cm

Necklaces

Necklaces generally come in standard lengths; this guide will help you select the right length for you.

My necklaces are listed with a chain length I think is appropriate, and they often have 2 chain lengths, for example 16” and 18” or 18” and 20” etc. however you may prefer an alternative length.

There is the option of selecting longer chain lengths at additional cost on some items. If you require a length that is not listed or adjustment on a fixed length please contact me prior to making your purchase.

When choosing the length consider where you want the necklace to sit, how big the pendant is, and the neckline on your clothes.

You might find the following useful in making your decision.

16” – Falls perfectly at the base of the neck, on someone petite it hangs loosely at the base of the neck, on a plus size woman it might sit more like a choker.

18” – A popular length, that sits on the collar bone

20” – Sits just below the collar bone

24” – Falls at or sits just above the top of the bust.

30” – Falls just below the bust

34” – Falls just above the belly button.

The photo below depicts the most common lengths.
